Mercy

"Seek God while he's here to be found, pray to him while he's close at hand.
Let the wicked abandon their way of life and the evil their way of thinking.
Let them come back to God, who is merciful, come back to our God, who is
lavish with forgiveness." (Isaiah 55:6, The Message)
Today and everyday we need mercy, we need forgiveness. Everyday we sin, no one is immune and no one is perfect. The acknowledging of our sinful nature and seeking the mercy of Christ is the first step. A change of heart comes next; a change of direction, a change in attitude.
Today, Christ is close and he is near your heart and mine. We need mercy, we need forgiveness. Our attitudes must change, our way of thinking.
One change of thought is how we approach others... all the others who do not know Christ as Lord and Savior. These folks are prisoners of this world.
They are unknowingly trapped. They need our visits, our friendship, our prayers and our compassion. They don't need our criticism, our self-righteousness, or our condemnation.
