The Joy of Your Salvation...

“Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit.” Psalm 51:12
One of the most unseen and yet deadly adversaries against many Christians today is not the world, its temptations, or its pleasures… it is their attitude and their lack of understanding of Christ’s teachings.

Way too many believers are hung-up on themselves. They pass the day thinking about how sinful they are… or worrying about ‘straying into sin.’ All this when around them unbelievers are secretly desiring to see the joy, the peace, the contentment, and at least a little bit of Jesus in their lives.

The problem is focus… are a lack thereof. Christian, God’s Word encourages us to get our eyes off of ourselves and on Christ. Recall the joy of your salvation, the insatiable appetite of His Word, the love of… well everybody… and live today in that faith. Our glorious salvation is found in faith in Jesus Christ! Not in a method, a church, works that we do… or any righteousness that we ‘think’ that we possess… remember… Romans 3:10?

We all have problems. We all have sin, of some sort, in our lives. That is one of the reasons for prayer… to ask God to forgive you… while forgiving yourselves… Receive Christ’s forgiveness with joy, then go out, and tell somebody about what He’s done in your life… do the Great Commission…

Where does your strength come from? Psalm 18:1 & Nehemiah 8:10

Father, thank you for this life! Lord, you are our joy and strength; teach us to love others as you love us.

The Mercy of God

“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.” Psalm 51:1

David begins his prayer not with praise, not with thankfulness, but with the heart-cry of calling on God for mercy. All formality is thrown aside as David casts himself before God…
Sometimes I know that I can have such a set concept of how God is or what he wants that I forget that he’s God and I’m not. This is pride. Pride will keep us sitting still, looking good, and receiving the praise of others… David threw off any pretensions—will we?

There are simply times when you unmask the flesh, fall on your face before God, and cry out for His mercy. We do not seek repentance… on our own... But as we are moved to study the Law of Liberty, we see God’s goodness and our awfulness… and with the widening gap… as He draws us into fellowship… we become addicted to His love, his goodness, his Spirit whispering to us in the night…

When we sin… and God’s lifts a portion of this fellowship away… the righteous heart will do what’s necessary to humble oneself… if that means a loss of prestige, of falling on our knees, or on our face… to return to fellowship—then like David our hearts will lead us…
Will you follow your heart?

Will you follow pride?

Father, thank you for your goodness that leads our hearts to repentance-to seek your mercy and there at the foot of Calvary find peace for our troubled souls…

Quiet before the Lord

"When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.” John 10:4

“Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.” Psalm 107:30

To hear the voice of the Lord get quiet before him. Too often the television, the radio, the CD-player so keep us entertained that we forget to be silent and quiet before Him.

God desires to speak to our hearts – will we be quiet and listen?

Father, remind us to be quiet before you, to hear your voice and give us grace to follow wherever you lead.

Trust and Obey

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:8

God desires that we seek Him and seek Him only. We have a choice to make, will we serve God with all of our heart, soul, and mind, or will we serve ourselves. So often we wonder why we feel empty inside, why we feel lonly, and why there's an unsetteling deep within our hearts... God's Spirit is tugging at us to trust and obey. The decision to trust and obey is before us each day of our lives.

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8

Father, often a part of our hearts desire to seek you while our will seeks to do our own thing. Only you can save us and help us. Help us today, Father to choose you.

A Time to Laugh...

A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:4

Sometimes we can get too busy to just laugh at our selves. I know this is a common occurrence for me… being all work and no play… a real dull-boy at times. I believe that God has a sense of humor. I mean, look at us… we’re on a planet zipping through space and too often we think way too highly about ourselves--so much so at times that theorists conjure-up all kinds of really-funny stuff. Makes you wonder--how can folks believe their theories? Anyway, sometimes we take ourselves too seriously, I do. The Christian walk is not about self, it’s about loving God and helping others… sometimes that means sharing a joke… a clean-one… or pulling a harmless prank on someone, just to keep them on their toes…

Laughter in the workplace has a way of bringing people together, it’s certainly better than being sour-faced all the time-again, I’m... pointing the finger at myself and not at others…

So consider a little laughter today… I’ve heard its good medicine… and the Jesus that I love--I believe that he was quick to laugh… or you?

Father, you’ve made good wholesome laughter for our benefit. A benefit that too often we take for granted. This life certainly has a lot of pain, frustration, and anguish about it—but there’s also a lot that’s just… funny. Remind us to laugh at ourselves and along the way inspire others to laugh at life… as well…

Our Rock and Fortress

“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; My savior, You save me from violence.” 2 Samuel 22:2-3 & Psalm 18:2-3

This beautiful prayer of David came after many lonely nights, battles, pain, and struggle. Through all the brokenness in heart and spirit that God lead David through he always looked to heaven and offered sacrifices of praise. God faithfully meet David’s needs.

Each of us are like a David… There are times in our lives when—‘life happens.’ When plans fall apart, when dreams are crushed, and when faithful friends depart from us in our pain…

Yet, through the most perilous days know this… God is with you! He will not forsake you. You are his Beloved children. Your Heavenly Father will never abandon you—in times of trouble… consider… Maybe God wishes to teach you something very important.

God fully knows your needs, your worries, and your hidden fears. When trouble occurs—for it will—be like David and run to your Rock—to God. Hide in God’s fortress, wait beside the still waters and mediate on His Word. Watch and see God deliver you. Watch as the dark clouds pass and the sun rises and joy returns.

For you may endure pain for a while, for a season, but after these ‘growing pains’ you may notice that pain-suffering-hardship turn to be your deepest blessing. Pain lifts our hearts away from ourselves and to God. Pain brings us to the realization that our only strength comes from our God—our God of the greatest compassion, mercy, and goodness.

There is no need to carry your burden on your own. That is never God’s intention. Bring your burden to the cross. Lay them at your Savior’s feet and find strength like David to overcome your present adversary and to present such a prayer-as humble David.

Faithful Father, it is difficult to see you in times of trouble—for trouble is all that we see. Teach us to be patient. To wait. To hear your voice speaking calmly—reassuring to our hearts. Lord, thank you for the pain of rejection, the pain of hardship, of trial, of nights alone and in tears… for O God it is there that you comfort me… it is there that I hear you so plainly… when all I want is you. Thank you for suffering for it teaches this cold-hard heart your ways-conforms my frail character ever so slowly and gently into the image of Jesus, bless His name forever more. Comfort us in times of distress… O God!

He calls us 'Beloved'

“See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.” (1 John 3:1)

The books of the Bible are often characterized as old… stale… or even lifeless… Yet, if a reading were made from 1 John through 3 John an encounter of the warmest love on one hand and on the other a raging-passionate-fire for the principles of God and the always admonishing us away from sin.

No, these love letters to us… melt our hearts with Christ’s peace and comfort while terrifying the very carnal nature of us…

For the Word of God is a alive, fresh—an adventure—a deep well so captivating that draws our hearts away from ourselves to be cleansed by it’s washing and refreshed by the drinking…

In its pages we are not only called the “children of God” but also, “Beloved” (1 John 4:1) and also “kings and priests” (Revelation 1:6)!

Yes, we are different from our past lives—from this world—because once God opened our eyes to see Christ we couldn’t help but fall in love with the goodness, the gentleness, the mercy shown to us… “for while we were yet sinners Christ died for us”…(Romans 5:8) to “redeem us” (Titus 2:14).

Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. (Psalm 113:2).

Father, you call us Beloved and this we are because of Christ’s great love and sacrifice towards us—even while sinners. Teach us, help us to be worthy to be called Christians. To do what is right in your sight—not out of fear—but from the heart—out of love towards you.

The Narrow Gate

"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

That narrow gate is Jesus Christ. Today, there are many millions who are seeking their own pathway to Heaven but they are taking the broad way—the way to destruction. Today’s culture condemns strongly such a statement, a statement that excludes… yet could that very culture be in error? Each day we are given a choice: who will you believe, the culture presented to you on television or the words given by God in the Bible? God is very direct—his teachings very precise—the way, the truth, and life comes only through Christ Jesus—God’s Son.

That pathway to Heaven is open for all of humanity if and when they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and turn from their sins. Unfortunately, millions will not accept Christ—they have chosen to reject the sacrifice of Christ on the cross—they have rejected God’s plan.

That is why if you know Christ as Lord and Savior your rejoicing should never end, your bliss never full, for great is your reward in Christ. As a Christian, you should expect to be turned away, you should accept to be discounted, to be scoffed at, made fun of… for you Christian bear the image of Christ. The world rejected him—they will reject you.

Our comfort and our peace comes from God’s Word. Each day seek more of it, read more of it, love its pages, its stories, its truths, and heed its warnings. We are to be gentle and yet wise, bold and yet discerning, loving and yet hating sin—not the person—abhor their sin and yours as well.

Christian, our days are numbered. Christ coming is nearing with each passing moment, each completed breath. We are to redeem our present time to further the Gospel of Christ while there is time, while there is freedom to do so, and while we remain. Let us be cleansed by the washing of God’s Word over our hearts, let us be vessels that God can and desires to use. To warn this generation of the dangers found in the broad way—to influence their hearts to seek the narrow way—Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Father, no one knows the hour of your Son’s return. Yet, your Word declares that we can know the season. We look around us and we see Israel reestablished according to your Word. We see that men’s hearts have grown cold and that people love sin rather than righteousness. We see perversion on all fronts; an ever increasing in wickedness rather than holiness. Humanity ever seeks to solve their own problems and yet we miserably fail. Father, we look around us and sense that the season is right for your soon return. Lord, give us boldness to speak your truth unashamedly, and your grace to speak your truth in love.

Down From the Cross

“He saved others; He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him.” Matthew 27: 42

Yet, we know that Jesus did not come down from the cross, then. He suffered and died there. But Why? Because of sin. Not his, but ours and the sins of the whole world. Christ went to the cross as a lamb to be slain—as permanent atonement for the sins of the world. Christ paid the full price. That price is paid yet it is up to individual hearts to accept Christ as Savior, as Lord. A person’s heart has to be right to do this… that means that a person’s heart comes to the full realization that they need help, that they are a sinner, and they need someone to help them, they need a Savior to save them.

For many that is a tall order. The heart is often hard. Sin will do that to a heart—it only hardens, but God’s Spirit softens and leads a person to Christ.

Christ did come down from the cross—in death. He was buried and yet the grave could not hold him, could not keep back His majesty—His eternal righteousness—His plan of salvation…

God’s Spirit is calling today for the hearts of mankind to repent, to turn from their evil and turn to Christ for help…

Is your heart empty—is there a perpetual loneliness within you; are you at your end?

Is Jesus Christ your Savior, do you have a personal relationship with him, do you know Him as your friend, as your brother, as Lord and Savior?

Christ loves you—he is the peace you seek, the joy in the midst of pain, a comfort in ever your time of need, you will never be truly lonely in Christ.

Father, today as our hearts anticipate Resurrection Sunday, our hearts are moved to reflect on the Cross. May we pick up our cross, be your disciple and follow you today…

Resurrection Sunday

As we near Resurrection Sunday – the Passover – I want to reflect back on and remember the greatness of Christ’s sacrifice. The only way that I know how to truly do this is to recall the time when Christ resurrected me from an old life; an old life of constant loneliness, fear, guilt, and inner torment. Christ filled my heart as I accepted Him as Lord and lead me into a life of struggle but joy, pain and yet peace, heartache, and yet my Heavenly Father promises that he will never leave nor forsake me. In His promises, I have the greatest of hope, joy, and lasting contentment.

Jesus Christ came into this world so that the world might believe in Him and thereby be saved. His is the Passover Lamb that continues to protect our souls from the plague of death as it passes through the land of Egypt we may now occupy.

Consider this Resurrection Sunday... His life, His death, and His Resurrection and I pray may His resurrection power be found in your life-through belief in Christ, through faith alone, through Him alone.

God's Purpose

“For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps” 1 Peter 2:21

There is a purpose why God’s lead you to where you are today, wherever you work, you live, or the people that you meet, there is a reason.

Oftentimes, we find ourselves in the midst of trouble. It seems to come from a direction least expected and even from people that we would not expect at all. Yet, in Christ, there is a purpose in this as well.

Christ desires to form his character into our lives. We have a nature that continually resists this or any change. To help us change, to return our focus on Him, God allows, trouble to come into our lives.

It takes heat and pounding to create steel. God lovingly works in our lives and hearts, at times, much the same way. We are truly at our best in Christ when we are crushed, when our hearts are broken, and when we receive none of the glory, only He does.

God has many vessels that he works through; there are vessels that shine brightly, who seemingly overcome all obstacles, and who people recognize God working in and through greatly.

There are also vessels that are broken. These are seemingly crushed beneath trouble, heartache, and weakness continually. God works through them both, he has a purpose for all of his vessels.

~What kind of vessel are you in God’s hands?

~Do you recognize God’s purpose for you at work and away from work?

Heavenly Father, you have created us with purpose. Many times, we cannot see those purposes and so we trust you anyway. Father, you great love for us and we are grateful for your work in our lives.

The Lord Weighs the Hearts

“Every man's way is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the hearts.” Proverbs 21:2

Reflection is good for the heart, the soul. King Saul never did this… David continually reflected on his heart in comparison to the Word of God brought to him. How often do we not do this… how very often am I also guilty.

Have you ever been amazed at your own heart? There’ something there that desires to do good and there’s this other desire that seeks to do evil? You know, God knows. He knows your heart and mine; he knows what we are hiding; he’s weighing our hearts…

It is not the outward appearance that appeals to God, it is the heart… how different are His ways from ours; from the world’s?!

Is your heart right with God this morning?

Are you a King Saul or a King David, do you trust in yourself or in God’s Word?

Do you use reflection in your life?

Heavenly Father, this morning we come to you in worship, in honor, in awe… Your Spirit speaks to our hearts and shows us our great need for you!

Fruit of the Spirit

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law”. Galatians 5:22-23

There are many laws in our lands. Laws meant to keep human nature in check. Yet, God operates differently. God desires that we become his children and not follow the letter of the Law—there is a big difference.

Becoming a child of God requires a giving-up of our selves, a surrender of our will to his and a belief that ‘our Father’ will handle any situation. Becoming a child is following obediently. Obedience to the Word of God from the heart will generate the fruit of the Spirit and there are no laws governing them.

Father, teach us to be your children and to obey you. Our dependency is on you.

A Morning Prayer

"Lord, we rise on this early morning to worship. This, our worship, is our purpose; our best that we have-all that we have. We are astonded by your mercy and grace, it is beyond comprehension. Who is like the Lord in goodness, mercy, and love... none other...

Sunlight streaks are now rising over the horizon and we know that today you will bless the righteous and the unrighteous with your care. You will hold out mercy and salvation for any and all who choose, you will give breath to those who praise you and those who give you curse.

Such encompassing love we can not fathom, such meekness we could never possess. Meekness being the power to stop such intrusions to righteousness-yet, choosing for the time being to show mercy. Teach us dear Father to have mercy shine forth from our hearts just as the sun warms the fields and glistens off the earth's waters this morning.

That hearts will recognize your glory and not our own, your worthiness--compared to our own unworthiness--to you their praise, this full attention, and Lord we pray--their eternal salvation!

Our prayer this morning... is to hear our praise!

The King's Heart

“The king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes.” Proverbs 21:1

It is easy to become distracted by those in authority. We often wonder why they do what they do, say what they say, mean what they say—behind the words. It is easy to have your thought life become captive by this distraction.

Joseph knew this, so did David, and Christ our Lord. Yet, they learned that the king’s heart is under the control of God. They believed that the king could do nothing that God would not allow.

This is a principle that if not mentioned on occasions, if our minds are not refreshed, that we tend to forget. In essence, that is why God has caused many of the men that we listen to—to preach. To remind us, and to refresh our minds of the teachings and the ways of God.

And how did Joseph, David and Christ respond? They submitted themselves to the authority, in faith to God. They did not clamor out in the streets, or make a big fuss, they silently suffered… and each in suffering… became a King, themselves.

Honor to whom honor...

"Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor". Romans 13:7

The other day an e-mail came across my screen that prompted, in a moment, a flashback of memories. Most of these memories, not even my own, but of my brother Clyde, and my step-Dad Herb and their service to our country during World War II. These men, not knowing each other at the time, served the U.S. Navy—one in the Atlantic and one in the Pacific.

While my Dad was alive, I never publicly honored him for the courage and sacrifice that he gave as a Seabee in the Atlantic. I do not wish to make the same mistake with my elder brother—so the following is in honor of him and of the untold millions who served and continued to do so with honor.

The Spirit Will Teach You

“Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21.

Just as in a large kitchen there are all types of tools. Some of these prepare food and they must stay very clean. Other tools are not as clean as their job is different, such as a mop, a broom, a dustpan— for example. You would not eat from a trashcan or from a dustpan. How do you know the difference? Well, we simply do, we have been taught what is clean and what is unclean.

We are taught these days by the Spirit of God, ("But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. John 14:26). What does the Spirit say to us? ‘Clean up your heart, do not live in anger, bitterness, wrath, or jealousy… do not be anxious, do not fear—just focus on His righteousness in your heart--be clean.’

God wants our hearts to be clean before Him so that He can use us more readily. God has work for us to accomplish. There are millions who have not heard the Gospel – maybe God wants to send you?

What is the Spirit speaking to your heart about?

Are you listening to the Spirit of God?

What you are hearing or feeling does it line-up with the Word of God?

Does God want you to go out and tell others His Good News?

Father, so often we simply do not know what your Spirit is speaking to our hearts about. Most of the time I/we become so busy with making a living and everything that entails that we don’t stop and pray, and when we pray… too often we don’t simply listen… to your Spirit. The Comforter that you have blessed us with, that teaches us all of your truths and that guides our hearts ever to your Word and therefore to you. Help us Father, to listen and obey.

The Spirit Speaks to a Depressed Heart...

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20

(Intro… a hurting & depressed Christian…)

Heal the broken places deep inside…
The scars and tears from you—will not hide…
Though so hard, so hard I try…
I cannot escape my present darkened side…
Through crowded streets, I walk all alone…
My journey seems fruitless, my witness all but gone…

(Unscheduled interruption by God’s Spirit to depressed heart…)

“You do not belong here, the Spirit does declare…”
“Look up, not down; your redemption draws near…”
“The Father is coming, be quick in preparing…”
“Cleanup now your act and stop interfering…”
“You’ve rested quite lazily while moping in depression…”
“Why it’s time to shine forth your heart’s true confession…”
“Confess who Christ is—proclaim His Good News…”
“Put action to words—give shelter, give food…”
“Be good, show good, live good, in these days…”
“For you never really know when the Savior will say…”
“It’s time to come home now, the work is done…”
“Those who love me, proclaimed me, their hearts I’ve won…”
“So off to the streets with you…”
“And across far-flung plains…”
“Go seek where His name is not…”
“And there teach, there preach, and there proclaim…”

…and then the Spirit spoke in my heart…
…and now I have work to be done…

What is the Spirit saying to you?

Where will He send you?

God is Faithful!

Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Psalm 36:5

The Lord is faithful to His people, have you ever known Him not to be? When you call on Him, does He not answer? Yes, He answers… at times instantly-and at other times, there is a time of patience—a time of waiting. Yet, God is faithful and He will be, it is apart of who He is—one of His attributes.
[1]

How faithful is God in answering your prayers?

How faithful is God in meeting your daily needs?

Will God meet your future needs?

Then why worry?

Heavenly Father, thank you for your faithfulness! A million times over, you have proven your faithfulness to your people and Lord, we are thankful!

[1] Deuteronomy 32:4 "The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He; Psalm 89:5 “The heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones”.

Jesus's Example

“…have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil motives?” James 2:4

There was a man who lived long ago who walked on this earth, who shared meals with the poor and the wealthy alike; wealth find in their homes or the lack thereof did not matter, they were not his focus.

Fine food at a wedding feast was a meal just as a piece of fish and a slice of bread-the food fueled the body that’s what mattered, for that moment.

In His walks through the cobblestone streets filled with merchants, buyers, and sellers, he viewed them all as sheep needing a shepherd; he did not want their money, he wanted to sell the truth for free.

The poor needed heart-healing, the wealthy just the same. No difference, no regard given one over another, all were ill in His sight.

A woman with a disease touched him, he spoke to her, and she was healed. A healthy and wealthy young man spoke of his own goodness until he was asked to leave his wealth behind-he did not and was never healed.

A soldier of the State, whose daughter was ill, was healed, with a word and faith. His neighborhood, were he spent His youth, did not receive Him, no faith-no miracle occurred there.

His motives were pure, His heart towards all people. The longing of His heart was for their freedom even when His freedom was nailed on a cross.

Do you make distinctions between different people?

Do you treat wealthy people better than the poor?

Are you a sojourner in this life or a resident?

Heavenly Father, thank you for coming to this earth and showing us your example on how to live this life. We often fail. Forgive us our failures and teach us to show care and love without partiality.

Proper & Good Order

“…all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner”
1 Corinthians 14:40

The Apostle Paul wrote those words in conclusion to his message on how the church and its gifts should operate. We are members of this same church, should we not follow the same principles in our own lives?

Yes, we are to conduct our lives in an orderly fashion—or in twenty-first century lingo, we need to be organized and diligent about the Lord’s work, and any work in general. To learn how to work for the Lord Jesus Christ he’s blessed us with tutors here on earth that test our ability to work under their authority and to accomplish the tasks that they present to us—these we should do 'as unto the Lord'. 1

One of the common workplace problems in laziness. Laziness is not a Christian virtue, some Christians believe so, but they are wrong. The example of our faith, Jesus Christ was not a lazy man—he was daily seeking His Father’s guidance, daily progressing towards a goal. Laziness is the desire to-not follow diligence, prudence, or accomplishment—it just exists, uninvolved without motivation. 2

A common fallacy is that diligence in the workplace requires swiftness of action, overly prompt responses, and breakneck attention in decisions. These are all false. Diligence once mixed with prudence will prompt a willingness to do whatever to accomplish the task. Diligence is continual re-focus on the goal—task accomplishment with recognition that everything is important and vital, people being most precious. 3

There is a major difference between laziness and fear of success. Some are simply paralyzed by new stimuli (the computer for example), new information that they are taking in, and the unknown—they desire to work hard but do not know what to do or where to begin. With these good people show mercy and understanding and care. Recognize that they need help and try to help them as best as you can; you will win a friend and benefit the accomplishment of the goal.

Are you motivated at work?
Do you make the supervisor’s goals, yours?
Are you lazy at work?
Are you paralyzed by new technology?

Heavenly Father, you are with us in the workplace and your desire is for us to shine as lights and demonstrate your example. In our own strength, this simply is not possible—help us, guide us—all things are possible with you! Help us to help others—that is what you would do and that’s what you would have us do.

1. "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ Ephesians 6:5-6; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart"; "Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God Colossians 3:22."[KJV]

2. "Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically" [NLT] Romans 12:11; "He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster". [KJV] Proverbs 18:9

3. "The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage,But everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty". [NAS] Proverbs 21:5; "The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious". [KJV] Proverbs 12:27
