Trust and Obey
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:8
God desires that we seek Him and seek Him only. We have a choice to make, will we serve God with all of our heart, soul, and mind, or will we serve ourselves. So often we wonder why we feel empty inside, why we feel lonly, and why there's an unsetteling deep within our hearts... God's Spirit is tugging at us to trust and obey. The decision to trust and obey is before us each day of our lives.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8
Father, often a part of our hearts desire to seek you while our will seeks to do our own thing. Only you can save us and help us. Help us today, Father to choose you.
